Girl’s Day

Girl’s Day (걸스데이) is a five-member South Korean girl group under the management of Dream Tea Entertainment. The four members are: So Jin, Min Ah, Yura & Hyeri.

DreamTea Entertainment started Girl’s Day promotions before their debut with the creation of an official Cafe, YouTube channel, and Twitter accounts for the group and each member. A forum made by fans was also recognized by the company as their official international forum. The group also released dance flash mobs before their debut on the commercial and entertainment districts of Seoul gaining much interest.

Only two months after their debut, on September 12, it was announced through the group’s official Twitter that members Ji Sun and Ji In left the group and two new members (Yura and Hyeri) would be added to the group. In 2012 Jihae left the group.

In December 2010, Girl’s Day got their first TV-show along with boyband U-KISS. The show, “We Are Dating”, is a spinoff of the hit TV-show We Got Married and paired three members of each group on the first season.

Sojin

Park SoJin (박소진) was born on May 21, 1986. She’s the leader and lead vocalist of the South Korean girl group Girl’s Day.

Sojin won a mathemathics contest in highschool.

She participated in the OST of Flames of Ambition (욕망의불꽃)

And Sojin made a cameo in MBC’s “I Believe in Men”.

Yura

Kim AhYoung  (김아영) was born on November 6, 1992. She’s the vocalist and lead rapper of the South Korean girl group Girl’s Day.

She made a cameo in MBC’s “I Believe in Men”.

Yura was added to the group on September 14, 2010 alongside Hyeri when JiSun and JiIn left the group.

She have her legs assured for ₩ 500.000.000 ($449.000)

Minah

Bang MinAh  (방민아) was born on May 13, 1993. She’s the main vocalist of the South Korean girl group Girl’s Day.

She made a cameo in MBC’s “I Believe in Men” and KBS’s “Baby-faced Beauty”. She sang the OST for “Jungle Fish 2” and also appeared in the film “Performer”.

Minah was part of the cast of “Oh My School”, “Roller Coaster – Frustrated, but Let’s Stick Together” and “Min Ah Cham Story”.

Hyeri

Lee HyeRi (이혜리) was born on June 9, 1994. She’s the vocalist and rapper of the South Korean girl group Girl’s Day.

She made a cameo in MBC’s “I Believe in Men”.

Hyeri was added to the group on September 14, 2010 alongside Hyeri when JiSun and JiIn left the group.

FORMER MEMBERS:

  • Woo Ji Sun (우지선)

Ji Sun was born on October 17, 1989. Two months after her debut she left the group to continue her music studies.

  • Lee Ji In (이지인)

Ji In was born on March 13, 1992. She left the group two months after their debut to focus on her acting career.

  • Woo JiHae (우지해)

She was born on May 14, 1989. She was the vocalist, rapper and main dancer of the group. She left in 2012.
