4minute

4minute (포미닛) is a South Korean girl group founded by Cube Entertainment in 2009. The group consists of Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, Hyuna and SoHyun.

Cube Entertainment released their debut single “Hot Issue” on June 18.
The group promoted the song from its release until August. At the end of August, 4Minute released a mini-album called “For Muzik” which was alongside their second single, “Muzik”. 4minute won a mutizen award and a mnet award for their second single “Muzik”. Their third single was “What A Girl Wants” was released shortly after the release of their EP.

4minute released a new mini-album entitled HuH (Hit Your Heart) for their comeback on May 19, 2010. Along with this, they also released the first single from it, titled “HuH”. In the first track “Who’s Next?” 4minute’s fellow label mates, the members of Beast, were featured and also appeared in the music video for “HuH” and “Who’s Next”.

They released a new music video for “I My Me Mine” their second single from “Hit Your Heart” on July 5, 2010.

On July 19, 2010, the song “Superstar” was digitally released for the Korean TV show Superstar K season 2.

The group received the Bonsang Award at the 20th Seoul Music Awards on January 20, 2011. On February 6, the group attended the 2010 Billboard Japan Music Awards, and received the “KPop New Artist Award”.

The MV for their japanese single “WHY” was released on February 7, 2011.

4minute released their third mini album, titled Heart to Heart featuring five new songs, with a title track titled “Heart to Heart”.
The MV for “Heart to Heart” was released on March 29, 2011.

On April 5, 4minute released their first full length Korean album titled 4MINUTES LEFT. Along with the highly anticipated video for their title Track “Mirror Mirror”.
The album consists of all the tracks the Heart to Heart digital EP had, along with “Hide and Seek” and “Already Gone” which were from their debut album in Japan, DIAMOND, as well as the title track “”Mirror Mirror”” ,another new song titled “Badly” and a Korean remake of their Third Japanese Single “First”.

Jihyun

Nam JiHyun (남지현) was born on January 9,1990. She is the leader and sub vocalist of the kpop girl group 4minute.

She was part of the drama “It’s Okay Daddy’s Girl”. She also appeared in the drama “Unstoppable High Kick”, and made a cameo in the film “Midnight FM”.

Jihyun guested in Lee Hyun’s “You Are the Best of My Life” MV.

Gayoon

Heo GaYoon (허가윤) was born on May 18,1990. She is the main vocal of the kpop girl group 4minute.

She appeared on Mario’s video “I’m yours” in 2008, and she also sang for MC Mong’s “Ninth Cloud”.

Gayoon was placed second in a SM Entertainment contest.

She made a cameo on MBC’s drama “High Kick Through The Roof”.
She also sang for SBS’s drama “Lie To Me” alongside Jadu and E-TRIBE the song “Love is an obvious lie”, and “One, Two, Three” for MBC’s “The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry” OST.

Jiyoon

Jeon JiYoon (전지윤) was born on October 15,1990. She is the vocalist and rapper of the kpop girl group 4minute.

She made a cameo on MBC’s “High Kick Through The Roof”. She also appeared in “Mr. Teacher” and was anounced that she will be part of “Immortal Song 2” in replacement of Secret’s Song Jieun.

Jiyoon collaborated with Woo YiKyung for the single “Look Only At me”, and she also callaborated with Lee Hyori and After School’s ex member Bekah for the song “Bring it back”.

Hyuna

Kim HyunA (김현아) was born on June 6,1992. She is the main rapper and dancer of the kpop girl group 4minute. She was also a former member of the Wonder Girls but left because of health problems.

She made a cameo on MBC’s “High Kick Through The Roof”, and made a cameo in the film “Midnight FM”.

Hyuna was MC of “Show! Music Core”, was part of the cast of “Invincible Youth” and is now part of “Dancing With The Stars”.

She appeared on various music videos: AJ’s “Dancing Shoes”, Mighty Mouth’s “Love Class” and 4Tomorrow “Tomorrow”.

Hyuna also collaborated with many artist like G.NA (Say you Love Me), Lim JeongHee (Golden Lady) and Navi (Wasteful Tears).

Appart from 4minute, Hyuna released a solo single “Change” and a mini album “Bubble Pop!”.

Sohyun

Kwon SoHyun (권소현) was born on August 30,1994. She is vocalist of the kpop girl group 4minute. She debuted with Orange in 2005.

She participated in many dramas like “Dae Jang Geum”, “Jang Gil San”, “Lovers in Paris”, “Sweet Buns”, and made a cameo on MBC’s “High Kick Through The Roof”.
She also appeared in the film “Love Predicative”.

Sohyun collaborated with the rookie group Dalmatian in their 1st Mini Album song “Really Really”.
