Rainbow
Rainbow (레인보우) is a 7-member South Korean girl group under DSP Media. The members are Jae Kyung, Go Woo Ri, Cho Hyun Young, Kim Ji Sook, No Eul, Oh Seung Ah and Jung Yoon Hye.
On November 12, 2009 the group released their debut single album, “Gossip Girl”. The group debuted on November 14, 2009 at Music Core.
“Rain-nous” has officially been announced as Rainbow’s fanclub name. “Rain-nous” (Rainbow + Luminous) A portmanteau meaning that their fanclub will support Rainbow members until the members’ 7 colours shine brightly.
Jaekyung
Kim Jaekyung (김재경) was born on December 24, 1988. She’s the leader, lead vocalist and lead dancer of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Red.
Jaekyung was a JYP trainee.
She made a cameo in the film “Heartbeat”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
Jaekyung was a fixed member of the variety show “Oh My School” and “Let’s go Dream Team season 2″.
She also appeared on SS501′s “Love Like This” MV and A’ST1′s “Dynamite” MV.
Woori
Go Woori (고우리) was born on February 22, 1988. She’s the main rapper, main dancer and sub-vocalist of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Orange.
She made a cameo in the films “Heartbeat” and “You’re my pet”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
Woori was a fixed member of the show ‘God of Cookery’.
She also was featured on The One’s song “Do it for you”.
Seungah
Oh Seungah (오승아) was born on September 13, 1988. She’s the second lead vocalist of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Indigo (something between blue and violet).
She made a cameo in the film “Heartbeat”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
Seungah was a permanent guest on “Kiss the radio” with fellow member Noeul.
Noeul
No Eul (노을) was born on May 10, 1989. She’s the rapper and vocalist of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Blue.
She made a cameo in the film “Heartbeat”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
She also appeared in SS501′s “Calling out of you” MV.
Noeul was a permanent guest on “Kiss the radio” with fellow member Seungah.
Yoonhye
Jung Yoonhye (정윤혜) was born on April 14, 1990. She’s the vocalist and rapper of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Violet.
She made a cameo in the film “Heartbeat”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
Jisook
Kim Jisook (김지숙) was born on July 18, 1990. She’s the second main vocalist of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Green.
Before debut she was in a rock band that won numerous competitions.
She made a cameo in the film “Heartbeat”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
Jisook was a permanent guest on Kim Heechul’s radio show “Youngstreet”.
Hyunyoung
Cho Hyunyoung (조현영) was born on August 11, 1991. She’s the main vocalist and maknae of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Color of the rainbow: Yellow.
She made a cameo in the film “Heartbeat”, and on MBC’s drama “Dae Mul”.
